I got cohesive gel implants placed under the muscle in Jan 2015. By March my hair started falling out and since September I have had severe sebhorreic dermatitis and rashes on my whole face and neck (not on breasts or body) which only clears when taking anti fungal medication. Apart from these issues I have no further symptoms which are common with breast implant toxicity illness so I’m not sure if it is related to the implants or not. has anyone else experienced skin rashes and hair loss? I am also not sure if the hair loss is perhaps related to the surgery as it has tapered off to an extent so I’m scared to get them removed incase it starts falling out in full force again and I’ve already lost half my hair! Very confused about what to do and any advice would be greatly appreciated. I just wish I had never had the surgery as I’ve never felt to unattractive in my life since having them done due to the hair loss and skin rashes on my face 🙁 now i can hardly go out and I’m having to leave my job cause my skin is so uncomfortable and such a mess. X
Aww no sorry 2 hear that.. have u tried alternative like getting hair extensions? I don’t have the rash problem but I got really really dry skin since having surgery ny friend recommended I get e45 and that has sorted it… It might be worth seeing if there’s any dermoligica skin products can use maybe x
Wow!! .., sounds like you’ve an awful time . I know silicon implants can cause some people to have allergic reaction, but it’s very rare. I’m sure you’ve already spoken to your nurse or surgeon about it … What was their advice ?
@kiki87 sounds terrible hun! It may be a good idea to go on a short cleanse to flush your system of all the toxic build up so you can still keep the implants but clean out your system from all the side effects? xxx
