Illness

Hi girls! So Saturday I had a sore throat, which thankfully has now gone but just got a sniffy nose! Has anyone been able to have their op with a cold? I don’t have a temperature or anything. It’s Monday today and my op is due Friday! Any ideas for getting over this asap? Or will I be okay to go ahead? Xxx

Literally dose your self up with green tea (squeeze fresh lemon in) and as much orange juice (fresh) as you can.buy Olbas oil put a few drops into a bowl of boiled water and then put a towel over your head and breath in the steam. My dad has a bad immune system due to his illness so I’m an expert at getting rid of colds! Also try to avoid any germs so keep your hands clean all the time and change your pillow case to avoid breathing in the germs xxx

I agree with the steam and towel over head works a treat I use vicks. and buy some extra strength halls the ones in the black packet to clear your sinuses. hope your ok xxxx

Thanks girls, Iv actually gone and bought a humidifier as everywhere online said to get one to keep the air moist in my bedroom! Changed my bed covers too! Got lemon and honey and having steaming showers lol! This will not beat me! I don’t even feel ill just snotty. Fingers crossed!xxxx

Don’t worry Hun as long as you feel ok in your self you should be fine! I got a cold 2 days before opp I was so sniffly but it was fine don’t worry hunny cxxx

Thanks emily that’s made me feel so much better! Feel like Iv been worrying and making myself worse. Just going to relax as much as possible until Friday xxx

Loads of vitamin c as well I find that always helps me if I ever feel poorly x

I’m drinking so much orange juice lol. I still have a few days so fingers crossed! It started friday night/Saturday so I’m hoping this is the worst now xxx
