I'm at the Fitzroy right now!

Hello ladies! The day has finally come.. It’s the day of my surgery. Most of you won’t know me as I’m a new member but I have been following all of your stories which has made me even more excited!

I’m currently a 32AA. Im having 500cc unders (moderate). Any tips or tricks for post op?? Can’t wait, if anything I’m nervous because I’m so relaxed about it.

Good luck! My advice is take full advantage of anyone helping you for the first few days. Get plenty of rest and keep on top of your meds 🙂 enjoy your day! Xo

Hi ladies thanks for your kind words xx I literally woke up this morning and started jumping on my bed like a kid because I was so excited (and I’m really not a morning person haha). I have butterflies in my stomach and it all feels surreal finally being here and finally doing this. Xx

Good luck! Take the pain meds before they take your drains out 🙂 and enjoy it, you will be absolutely fine! Nurses at Fitzroy were really nice when I was there last Friday/Saturday xx

Aghhhh good luck. I had an amazing day yesterday and worried the most about the drains but I honestly didn’t feel them. I know everyone is different but don’t panic too much! Enjoy your day!! Xx

Not sure what time I’m due for the operation 🙁 It feels like I’ve been here much longer than 3 1/2 hours. I’m a day case, does anyone know how long roughly they keep you in the hospital for after surgery? Is it a couple of hours?? X

They told me 4 hours after but I was fine to leave a little earlier xx

I was allowed to leave 3 hours after I’ve come back around from my op hun . Good luck! Xx

Hi ladies, well it didn’t go to plan. The surgery itself was fine and the implants look amazing! (Pic to follow!) however I was rushed to the local hospital due to my lung collapsing during the surgery!! I had to have a CT scan I’m still on oxygen and doped up on morphine.. Will put up a post later detailing full story, I’ve got to get some sleep now been awake all night.x

Hiya good luck I was there yesterday I was second in and I went down about 10. Jus relax watch tele I kept fallin asleep because I was up early. I was dreading the drains but wasn’t too bad just right hurt a little more but was more like a quick burn. But I had some pain killers but 1hr before not because I was in pain but because I was worrying about the drains. Overall pain hasn’t been bad

Hi girls I spent the night at the local hospital and was brought back to the Fitzroy today. I’m staying here tonight; I had a really tough day. I’m happy with the enlargement but there have been complications and I’m feeling really emotional. The pain has been really bad. I’ve only had three hours sleep.. X

Hope you don’t mind the add hun and I wish you a quick recovery. Keep on top of your painkillers. If co-codamol is no good, go to your GP for Naproxen. Trust me, it is one of the best painkillers/anti-inflammatories there is and it saved me during my recovery.

P.s I used to be a member of the ‘flat-chested club’ aka the ‘itty bitty titty committee’ too but I resigned from there six weeks ago, and am now a proud owner of some DD’s, haha. Happy healing hun. xxx

Just to say I’m feeling much better now. My surgeon has been incredible and the team are keeping on top of the pain x
