IM AWAKE

Cant believe it! Im awake and have boobies 😀 was second on the list so went down about half 10! Literally was crying my eyes out when they were putting me to sleep but was out within a second and next minute was waking up in recovery! Not a scary experience at allllll.. Was actually quite enjoyable! Ended up having 445 in my smaller breast and 375 in the bigger one! (Didnt realise they were even THAT different) haha, thankyou to all you lovely ladies that have been there for me throughout mu experience! 😀 so happy right now, will post pics and my full story later! 😀 and good luck to all the other girls having their BA today, enjoy every second! Xx

Hi Romy, sounds like you had a good op then and you feel fine! Im sooo nervous for mine i have mine just under 3 weeks now! How do you feel after your op, im so scared of feeling really poorly xx

Haha it sure is amy! And yeah i did thankyou emma, cant believe its over! I felt fine after my op! Quite giddy and a slight drunk feeling.. I couldnt focus my eyes on anything, but it felt great lol! Ive just had my lunch now so feeling more human again (hadnt eaten or drank since last night) and now im just reading magazines and watching Jeremy kyle in my room! – could get used to this lol. I dont feel sick or tired, just desperate to have a look at my boobies! You’l be fine, try not to stress about anything! My experience so far has been great 🙂 xx

aww thanks! I hope im the same as you cause everyone is different arent they!! Are you in pain or anything? I cant believe how easy yours sounds! What time do you get to leave? sorry for all the questions! haha you can tell im so scared! xx

No its fineee! Thats what this forums for! Im not in any pain as such but i do feel abit stiff although i was expecting to feel alot worse so its nothing really 🙂 im not sure what time i get to leave yet, but i have drains in so i doubt it will be for another couple of hours yet, tbh i dont want to leave! I feel quite sad its all over 🙁 you’l absolutely love it! Try not to worry xx

Thanks! 🙂 Yeah i’m expecting all that to, i can deal with the pain i just really dont wanna get sick!! Im not gonna take the painkillers im just gonna take paracetomol i think. Oh right, what are the drains like, does everyone have them cause i havent been told about them!! Really?! I cant wait till its all over, i just wish it was this time in 3 weeks! Have you had ops or anestic etc before? xxx

Noo ive never had an operation before! Thats why i was so nervous but honestly it was a breeze! Just felt like i was asleep for 5 minutes! But a really good deep sleep 🙂 couldnt work out where i was when i woke upnin recovering, i was like ‘is that it?!’ Was so paranoid id wake up half way through aswell but noooope! I think the drains are used to drain any excess fluid and reduce the swelling! Not every surgeon uses them though.. The same with strapping! I think its personal preference 🙂 and thankyou chelsea! You will love it! Ive not even seen my boobs properly yet but can honestly say its been one of the best days of my life – always feels like such an achievement when you’ve managed to do something your terrified of haha xx

Exactly like me then! Think thats why im even more nervous! I really hope so much im the same as you! Haha thats exactly what i keep thinking that im going to wake up half way through it ! Ah right yeah i thought so cause my surgoen didnt mention it so thats why im wondering if i will have them, hope not! Have you took antibiotics yet? Thats also what im dreading! haha im such a worrier xx

Noo they’ve not given me any antibiotics or pain killers yet.. Just lots of food and drinks! They come in every now and again to check my blood pressure and have a chat etc. all the nurses are lovely 🙂 just been told i will be having my drains out at 5 and can hopefully leave by 6! Xx

And can you eat properly yeah? Yeah so ive heard i believe there all nice, where abouts are you, im going to the one in Preston. Oh thats good then!! Did you go on your own? xx

Yeah fine! I had a 3 course meal haha! (Soup, turkey sandwiches with a salad and a fresh fruit salad) yum! Cant say i ate it all cus the portion size was massive but i had a good go! 🙂 i had mine done at abbey pines in manchester! And noo my boyfriend is with me performing all the slavery duties lol bless him xx

thats so good to hear! i well wasnt expecting that! hopei manage to eat something. ah right i wonder why im not there because i had my pre op and appts all at manchester. think we have different surgeons though thats probs why! aw thats good! so he should haha xx

Its because i went with transform not mya. Transform have their own private hospitals 🙂 xx

ohhh i tried transform but personally didnt like them as much! Im sure mya have their own private hospitals to!? xx

I was told they just rent rooms out in private hospitals but the hospitals arent actually owned by mya, they’ll be just as good though! All private hospitals are xx

Yeah pretty much! Although i was surprised my surgeon didnt draw on me.. I think its more relaxed when your actually here. They make it seem pretty strict in the ‘handbook’ but once your here they’re really laidback and very good at their job! Like i said, the nurses are wonderful at making you feel calm, even when i was crying my eyes out when they were putting the needle in haha xx

Oh really, that surprises me i thought they had to do that and thats something they all do!? yeah thats true, i hope there relaxing cause im gonna need it! i will be crying so much! does the needle hurt? cause im not even that good with them haha xx

I know i was just as shocked as you! But my surgeons performed over 7000 BAs so i trusted his decision 🙂 and nooo i was suprised how much the needle didnt hurt! I can honestly say i didnt feel it at all.. I was just blubbering my eyes out, and two nurses were chatting away to me and then bam i was out.. Cant even remember falling asleep it was so fast! And thankyou linadri! 😀 xx

haha definately trust worthy then! thats good then, you sound so brave!! and so calm about it all! i wish i could have my mum with me when im having the needle!! but if you fall alseep quick hopefully i wont even realise!xx

Romy do you know ruffly what time you woke up? As when I woke up on recovery some girl was passed out next to me lol wondering if it was you xxx

Haha! I was gonna say.. That would of been weird! Im feeling ok, back at the hotel now.. Bit sore and stiff but apart from that im great 🙂 are you pleased with your results? What was it you had again? Think im gonna have to treat myself to a takeaway xx

Aw thankyou sue! Its an amazing feeling 🙂 and dont be nervous kara! I started crying when they took me down to theatre but i honestly didnt even feel the needle! And i had the best sleep ever 😀 woke up in recovery within what seemed like 5 minutes! Was down in the theatre for an hour and now im back at my hotel! Such an amazing day & experience! Dont let nerves get the better of you xx
