Hiya girlies,
I wanted to have a little rant, I’m not putting any names or being rude but I’m not impressed with the service provided by my PC. I don’t know what their job role is but to me I would have thought my PC would have contacted me prior to my operation and ESPECIALLY during my recovery. I received texts all the time before I’d decided to book my surgery. I didn’t hear from her at all in the week leading up to my surgery and I’m now 2 weeks post op and nothing????? I am surprised at this if I’m honest with you…… Urgh. xo
Mine is the same, no contact unless I’m trying to speak to her. My nurse has spoken to me a few times though which is probably more useful anyway Xo
My PC has been really helpful pre-op (I had some medical issues which she helped me get sorted asap) and I haven’t heard anything since about 2 days before my op, now also 2 weeks post op. But then again, I’m not even sure if we’re meant to hear from them post op?!? x

I’ve just been informed my PC is on annual leave, so that’s fine. Well if their annual leave has been for the last 3 weeks… Then I take back my rant. And @alicelbaker I’m not sure either, hence why I put about the job role. I understand the amount of work they may have but this might be something they could look into improving 🙂 xo
This is the worst thing about mya 100% and it’s really upset me and my friends who had theirs done, my PC use to call me all the time and message! I never got any response once booked I had to even call the clinic to ask them questions, I had my op I heard fuck all from her up until yesterday when she stated shed been on annual leave, really? What about your patients? So I text back and again not a single message since. I’m so upset with the care from my PC and after my op I had one call from a lady who couldn’t get of the phone quick enough although I tried speaking she kept trying to close the call. Mya are a fab company but the reason I choose them is because of the surgeon as I knew the after care and care there is bad as it’s all sales to them and commission. My friend had a BA with them last year and is now going elsewhere due to worrying about aftercare for another procdeudre.
Sorry for the rant it just really pisses me off that a lot of girls have spent a lot of money privately and seem to have to care after or during other than before payment is made 🙁
Can’t fault the surgeon though and that’s the important bit girls xx
I haven’t heard from my PC even once since my op and am almost 8 weeks post-op. My communication with her even before my op was sporadic at best. I didn’t get a call or text from her to see how am recovering, nothing. The surgeons are great at Mya but the customer care, not so much.
Oh that’s good, at least now you know… Thinking about it now, a nurse called me around 2 days post op to check everything was ok, so I did hear from someone at MYA between op day and post op appointment. x
My pc text me a couple of times after my op and when I had an issue with my incision at a weekend again really helpful. Maybe your just got a duff one. I haven’t heard anything now for a few weeks but I haven’t had any issues so I’m not bothered x
Oh no, sorry to hear that girls. My PC is Krystina and she’s been amazing since day 1, always replying to my messages (even to silly ones pre op like I had a dream the wrong size implants were ordered haha!). She wished me good luck before op and rang the day after to check if I’m ok. I’m 9 weeks post op and she’s always there for me so I’m ever so grateful to have had her as a PC! Sorry to hear that some of your experiences hasn’t been good girls xxx
