Have just got home after travelling to see the nurse for my 6 week check-up. The two nurses said they one of my implants might have come out of the socket. They have booked me in with surgeon this Wednesday to see what he thinks… They did say that he could manipulate the implant back into the pocket! Sounds painful x Has anyone had this?? If so what was the outcome??
Can i just say that the nurses were absolutely lovely and really caring and i am so happy to have booked in to see the surgeon so soon. Really good after care so far…x
i haven’t had this but could you tell it had come out or not? 🙂 x
Well i have always thought my left has felt strange since i had it done and a lot lower than the other. I had complications in hospital too which resulted in me being kept in overnight in my left breast, so its all starting to add up. It just dosent feel right – hard to explain. Its kinda like i can really feel the implant at the bottom and all its ripples and can lift it too. I just thought i had rippling and that the other one had to drop.
Sorry cant giv any advice. But glad ur seeing ur surgeon so quickly to get this sorted.
I saw my surgeon the other day 6 weeks post op and he squeezed them so damn hard saying they were a bit tight in the pocket..so not sure if it’s anything like that…I nearly leap off the bed! And I couldn’t believe how he manhandled them as I’d been treating them like a bra of eggs…..obviously they don’t crack to easily!! Hope they sort it for you soon….the forum is full of problems at the moment 🙁
aw hun, i hope you get it sorted! atleast you aren’t waiting ages to see your surgeon to get it looked at 🙂 i hope mine hasn’t, one is crazy lower and i’m not sure why but it looks awful lol. let us know how you get on when you’ve seen your surgeon xx
Hey Susan, I have been worried about this too, have exactly same symptoms as you just no rippling, my implant literally moves around in left as an implant and the right moves like a boob, I also have a grating feeling when it moves around, I thought perhaps my pocket to big? X
Aww Susan sorry to hear about this but at least ur seeing the surgeon so soon. There has been so many problems recently but at least mya has good aftercare as everyone does seem to be getting sorted out quickly which is very pleasing if anything does go wrong for the rest of us girls…Nicole lol yes I’m treating mine like eggs but when I had my first consult with my PC she was squeezing them pulling them so hard throwing them against the wall. So yeah they must be pretty good. I won’t let my boyfriend touch them properly yet he’s only had a light feel of the, as I feel like he will damage them. He is very heavy handed though I’m just a worryier
Thanks for ur support guys – I’ll defo let u know how I get on on wed after I see surgeon x whatever it is sure it will get sorted xx
So shocked right now! Just got back from my appt with surgeon and turns out i have cc in my right breast! I was always worried about my left breast as it felt differently from my right and sat a lot lower, but he said thats how it is supposed to look and it is infact the right breast i have the problem with because it is sitting too high & is really hard and has cc. I knew something wasnt right you know. He has prescribed me an anti-inflammatory drug that i have to take morning and night for two months and deep massage the breast daily, if it doesnt help he will re-op.
Nicole – i know what you mean about surgeons squeezing your breasts OMG!!
MYA have been so good you know i really cant fault the aftercare i have received from everyone, they have been brilliant!
Omg Susan, how terrible, I can’t imagine how you are feeling, I think we all spend so much time worrying about stuff but it actual coming true is another thing. Hope you’re ok x x x
Thanks Liz x I feel bit like why me and am gutted?! But hey worst case scenario he has to re-op, at least MYA cover you for this – a lot of companies dont you know so id be screwed right now. Sooooo glad i went with MYA and have this 5 year cover with cc!!! x
