Implants info ⚪️ 🗒

Hi all
Would love to hear from anyone really on how you chose your particular implant? Thought this may be a helpful thread for anyone else weighing up options as helps to know why options were chosen. I’m hoping it is more my choice over surgeon recommended ?
So
Round or teardrop?
Textured or smooth ?
Under muscle or over ?
What profile?
I also want my incision scar to be under I had a consult years ago and the surgeon only wanted to go through the nipple i wasn’t happy about it so didn’t go back!

I’m thinking round, smooth, under muscle and high profile only because I have more side boob. Im a 34/36 b 9 stone and 5ft 1. However very aware I want to loose some weight before surgery so can’t decided on cc at all that’s the bit that really confuses me which I think is more surgeon led? Ideally want to be a decent D I think for the price going to a C wouldn’t be worth it for me!

I actually didn’t know there was a textured or smooth implant so you know the difference?
I’m thinking under and high profile and hoping about 300cc I think that’s about a D cup, have you had consultation yet xxx

Hiya! I recently had my first consult and like went in with like inspo and everything around what i wanted and ended up completely changing my mind honestly. The diff between smooth and textured will be explained to you but in like non surgeon terms its basically to do with like risk of capsular contracture and stuff. I would really recommend listening to everything your surgeon has to say, they are the ones that have been doing it years. I was heart set on having like 300cc and over, and hes basically said being so petite (im 5’2 A cup and 8st) theres not even a chance he would be able to fit a 300cc implant in me, and if he did it would be super visible because i dont have enough skin to stretch! I was gutted at first i wont lie, but have a look around for girls with similar stats to you as well, that really really helped me stop panicking that my boobs were gonna still be tiny. Lots of the BA account girls on insta (message them first) have been so so so helpful too. Hope my little ramble helps some xxx

It’s not quite as simple as just picking, although they certainly try to give you your wants/expectations.

When I went to see the surgeon I was totally up for what he thought would be best for me because he’s the one that’s been doing it for years and I didn’t want to regret going for something that wouldn’t look right on me!

I could have gone as big as 400cc but I chose 300cc because I’m 5ft, 7 stone and have thin skin, I was worried they’d look too much on my frame and due to the thin skin they would show quite obviously as implants.

I wanted round because I wanted a fuller breast.
He said I had to have over the muscle because I was at risk of double bubble.
He also said textured would be best because of the risk of capsular contracture (I scar very easy)! So I opted for textured.
I wanted to be a 32d (was 32a) so we also went with high profile. I am now happily a 32d! 😁

Yes 100% I would see what the surgeon says and I’m quite petite too so if he feels 300cc is too big I will defo go with what he feels would suit my body shape and frame as I don’t want them too big I want the natural look which is why in my head I’m thinking of under the muscle but again he may advice other wise
Do you girls know anyone who’s been with me mahdi thats who I have been given but can’t seen any reviews on him xxx
