In agony

Omg just woke up and meds wore off – totally not cool!!!! The main is so intense!! How long does it last? Iv heard people start to feel better post op day 4, my god I don’t think I can last that long!!! Ouch!!
My left breast is the worst at the top and very very tender and sore. The breast band isn’t helping and it’s rubbing me making me a little raw. My goodness I’m a mess! Any help / tips please? Xxx

I had mine same as u. I wouldn’t say I’m in pain but my god the pressure is awful. Swelling it bad aswell . I have had to stop taking co codamol as i was off mi head. Never done that to me before.

Oh @Lorna poor you! The first few days are the hardest pain-wise. Just keep taking the meds and rest up. It will get easier each day xx

I made sure I timed mine so I took cocodamol around half an hour before bed.. I woke up the first couple of nights & took 1 then as well.. Then when I woke up I hadnt gone so long without.. it does get better! Get some ice on your swelling xx

Thanks guys. I’m usually pretty good with pain but it’s the pressure more than anything. And it’s all the top of my boobs. I’m glad that the bottom is still numb considering all it’s Gone through! I can’t touch them at the moment they are so tender!

Slightly losen the breast band if you need to. As mine one min is to tight for swellin then gets lose so i just tighten again. You can loosen it.. Its in the paperwork. Also certain meds do diff things.. If you got muscle relaxer take that aswell as pain killer. It gets better by day 3 onwards. Well for me. Just keep relaxd x
