Thanks ladies. I didn’t have much chance to update my post, I seen by nurses, doctors, surgeon, then was taken to the theatre at 1050, everything went so quick. They attached to needle thing on my back of my hand after they found my vein, then inject anaesthetic in. I felt the cold going up my a ad they do that, funny taste at he back of my throat, then I remembered saying to the nurse that ‘I felt dizzy now’… Next thing I know after that was someone calling my name repeatedly, and I was in a bit of a semi awake stage, knowing that I’m back in my room and was given a glass of water with a straw and jar of water to top up. The nurse help me to get a sip of water and asked me to keep drinking as this helps me to come round from the anaesthetic. I also have drain for my abdominalplasty, and had my legs wrap with blood circulation device(felt similar to when they check my blood pressure). Although I can feel the pain in my incision for my abdominalplasty, but it’s not unbareable. Chest feeling heavy, but no pain. Nurse has been in a few time to check my blood pressure and drain, and said to let him know if I need any pain killers. I’m just going to leave the pain killers for now until I totally come round, just to see how much pain I can take before I needed them. Then I’ll ask for some food too. x x
