Had my op yesterday which took over 5 hours. I had a reduction, an uplift, nipple reshape and implants as my natural breast shape never formed properly. I was a 36D but all empty at the top with all the weight in the bottom and gross tubular breasts.

There were complications in my op where the blood circulation in my right boob wasn’t very good so the blood wasn’t reaching the skin properly. Because of this I have an open wound on my right boob to encourage the blood to flow the skin. I’ve got Pico dressings to draw any moisture away from the wound but I have to go back to London on Saturday for an assessment. If the swelling has reduced then my surgeon will stitch the wound up there, othereise I will either have to have a skin graft or a re-op!

I know it will all be worth it but I currently feel like someone is sat on my chest and tugging at my nipples! I’m allergic to codeine so have different pain relief.

I’m with Transform not MYA but want to let all the ladies with larger tubular breasts know that change can happen, it’s just not as straight forward! I live 6hrs away from London so it’s a lot of hassle and effort but I know it will be so worth it in the end! Xxx
