Incision half raw and weeping worried

Just rang the clinic and there’s no nurses in they said they’ll get someone to ring me from another clinic can anyone reassure me or give me advice on what to do please?! Uploaded a pic I might be over the top but I’m scared xx

Hi can I add you? I’m 9 days post op, have you had your week check with the nurse? I had mine yesterday and they covered mine up with steri strips and I can’t shower till Sunday. Do yours hurt? My bra is irritating mine x

Yeah course. Got seen on Tuesday she said it was raw but should be fine to properly shower on Thursday but I don’t think im going to be able to shower cos its weeping and yeah my bra irritating me think that’s where it’s catching on the end of my stitches xx

O no I don’t think I would shower yet as it might make it worse, hopefully the nurse will ring you soon x

Hi Daisy, just had a look at your pics and your boobs look amazing!! About the weeping incision, it looks to me like it needs to be looked at, only so a nurse can clean it and pop a new dressing on and in a few days it will probably be fine 🙂 Doesn’t look infected or anything, but keep it covered until you can get in to see a nurse, hope you’re okay, but don’t panic, doesn’t look bad xx

Hi Daisy, just had a look & hopefully the nurse would’ve contacted you by now. I agree that you shouldnt shower till It’s been looked at. My bra catches on mine too, had my po this morning but I haven’t looked at the scars yet. I will check mine when I get home. Is your nurse based at the Manchester clinic? Hope you’re ok xxxx

Thanks girls for the reassurance, I’ve had a phone call from a nurse and she’s booked me in first thing tomorrow morning! She said just change steri strip and clean it up so as soon as my mam gets in from work I’m sending her to chemist! Was so worried I’ve been trying to not lift up my left arm cos feel likes that’s pulling on it too and keeps unsettling it! Thanks Phillipa I’m so happy with them mr T is amazing and I’m glad I went for 340!!! Been to h&m already and got some bikinis had too!!! I just seen the yellow ness on my steri strips and thought to check it out sue and I’m at newcastle clinic! Pleased at how they got a nurse from another clinic too call me brill after care so far! Xxx
