    Hi ladies,

I had an uplift 4 weeks ago. My vertical scars have heeled fine, but the incisions underneath my boobs just won’t seems to heal. I’m not sure if it’s my sports bra rubbing which is causing them to heal so slowly. They are red & so is the surrounding area, but I feel fine so I don’t think they are infected. Just wondered if anyone else had this?

I was speaking to a lady just yesterday that said her horizontal scars are t healing as quickly, rest assured uplift scars do take longer as your op was more intrusive and complicated. I have an uplift but only a nipple so I got away with just scars around the areola!! Xxx

I’m exactly the same, my incisions underneath aren’t healing either and I’m nearly 6 weeks post op!! I had a nipple lift and they’ve healed fab and are spot on!! My nurse said it was probs my bra rubbing on the wounds but I’ve worn a macom since day one, I’m just upset as it’s prolonging my time before I can wear a normal bra!!x

Hi I had BA 8 weeks ago and only today has the scab on one of my incisions come off! The other incision heeled fine but this one was being stubborn! My surgeon said it was probs a little reaction to the stitches or sports bra rubbing. Hang in there! Can’t wait for a bath!! Xx

Just as an update, I went & saw the nurse today as the fenchurch clinic is round the corner from work & she has put something on them to dry them out (little orange squares) & then covered them over. This will apparently speed up the healing process. So I currently smell like antiseptic!! X

Hope it works for you laura, I have still got loads of scabs on mine in the areola and vertical incisions. i thought they would have dropped off by now its 4 weeks tomorrow!! they are so itchy and I am resisting the urge to scratch as I dont want to make my scarring worse.
I have decided to not let any water touch them at all and hopefully they will dry up faster and drop off so back to half baths for me.
Anyone got any thoughts about what could make them fall off faster
