Incisions not Healing?! Any Advice? x

Hi, I am 5wks post op after having a full uplift with 340cc. My right is perfect but my left is struggling to heal down the middle. It just seems to be getting worse! I put a dressing on but it sticks to it straight away, then as soon as I change it, it pulls the scab off & I start back at square one with a bigger hole! Iv tried leaving nothing on it to dry up before dressing & it still oozes & sticks. I went to see my nurse & surgeon at 3 wks & they sed my body was trying to push the stitches out rather than dissolve them & it was nothing to worry about but it just seems to be getting worryingly bigger. I’m going to see the nurse 2moro but any advice will be much appreciated girls! Thanx xxx

Hiya I have had this, it’s more annoying than anything as I’ve had to have it dressed every week nd jus slowed down process of healing. Hope goes ok with nurse tomorrow x

Hi Georgina, thanx it’s so frustrating! I feel like iv been stuck at the same point now for weeks & it’s not getting any better! It’s worse cuz iv looked on google at sum right horror stories so have got all sorts going through my head now! Hopefully she’ll sort it out tomorrow! xx

It is frustrating, I’m over 3months post op nd still can’t shower. Hopefully wen I go at wkend it’s my last time. Jus hang on in there, I no it seems lyk it’s not healing at all, it is it just takes some time. They might take some swabs to make sure there is no infection coz a couple of times I never had any changes from wk before nd I had a couple of infections x
