Indent in the incision

Hi girls, had my op on the 23rd of May and had my dressings taken off yesterday. The nurse didn’t mention anything about it but when I got home and had a look at my incisions (under the crease), one of them is flat while the other have a dent!? It looks like it’s healing inward or attached to something. Just wondering if any of you girls had this and if it flattened out in time?

Hello! I had this on one of mine and it is still there a little bit but it’s gotten so much flatter so I think it just takes a bit of time! But if you are still worried just follow up at your next appointment because then you’re even further and can see what they look like xxxx

@Bernie thank you, that is re-assuring to know i’m not the only one,. It looks quite deep at the minute, hopefully, like yours, it evens out, other than the incision I’m happy with my results so far

Mine didn’t look good when the dressing first came off but this is normal I’m 5 weeks p.o. now and they look 100% better. Patience is the key xx

I’ve got this on one of my incisions, the nurse said when it’s healed inside (looking to be this week) she will place some tape on it which straightens it out through the finally healing process x
