Anyone had an infection before and can shed abit of light?
I’m 1 week post today, after day 3 I’ve not really had any pain but my left has always been more painful than my right. I’ve woken up this morning so sore on my left and my boob feels swollen, sore to touch and it feels quite warm. I can’t see the colour of it because of the strapping!! I realise I’m only 7 days post but I feel like I got better and pain free and it’s odd to now be back in pain in just one boob?? My righty is fine and seems like it’s dropping already!
Bit worried, seeing the nurse this afternoon for my PO and it might just be nothing but I guess u worry about everything when it’s ur own boobs!!

I had my ba yesterday, was an overnight stay, my left is more swollen and more uncomfortable that the right. The nurse mebtiobed it last night when she had a feel byt sed its ok. Mr Traynor will be round this morning so see what he says.
I’m 8 days PO and have not had any pain in my right but my left has been sore. When I wake up on the morning the left feels as though it is swelling and I find it hard to get up but once I’ve walked around for a while it eases off. Have you been putting I’ve on? It works wonders for me xx

Hopefully it’s nothing, it’s just that I can feel it’s much more swollen and it’s warmer! Fingers crossed it’s nothing. Can’t wait to get this strapping off!!!!!! Xxxx
I think it’s pretty common for one to hurt more than the other? A friend of mine is 5 weeks post op and she had this at the beggining but had it checked and all was normal. She now has no pain at all and totally loves them. Hope all goes well today xx
beckkyyy I replied to you on facebook! its totally normal for one boob to hurt more than the other and feel like its burning etc! as long as you don’t have a fever! my left one was the worse you got to treat them as 2 different ops! it was even the same with my nose, one nostril hurt one than the other and incision xxx
It’s normal Hun. U have to treat ur boobs as sisters rather than identical twins they heal both differently. It sounds like it’s just the swelling, which is normal doesn’t sound like there’s any infection. U won’t know until u have the strapping removed anyway. If ur seeing the nurse this afternoon I wouldn’t worry xx
