Initial consultation

Hi guys I’m booked in for a consultation on Friday I can’t wait.. what exactly happens at the first consultation? X

Heya! You will meet your PC and they will go through all your medical history, and you will be asked what sort of expectations you have. I was then given a choice of 3 surgeons and advice about them, and then my PC helped me make an informed decision on which surgeon to use, based on what I wanted done. You will then book in for your 2nd appointment which will be to meet your surgeon. You will be sent home with an information pack and a guide sheet about your surgeon and you will be able to read through it all at home!! Hope this helps xx

Oh and also at your 2nd appointment you’ll have your sizer opportunity with your PC. This will be where you bring in a range of tops to try on with the size implant you’ve decided to go for. They also give you this nude vest to wear over the bra and implant sizers so that you have an idea of what they will look like when you are completely naked!! Xx

Once you meet a surgeon do you then have to go ahead?

No you don’t, but I booked my op date at my first consultation as I know they fill up quickly !! Xx

Do you have to book before you see the surgeon?

You have your first consultation, you then see the surgeon or however many you want to see (you don’t necessary have to go with the first) then when you are happy you can book your date for surgery with your chosen surgeon 🙂

Had my consultation today and meeting my surgeon on Saturday, op is booked for next month but I managed to get a last minute slot as I said I wanted surgery ASAP! My PC went through what look I wanted and gave me two surgeons to chose from, spoke about pricing and answered all my questions!

How long from consultation to op have you had to wait? X

I had my consultation Wednesday and my surgery is in 6 weeks, just depends how booked up the surgeon is. X
