Intense pain in right nipple and hard to breathe when standing up, POD 2?

When I sit at a 45 degree angle I feel almost fine, but when I stand up to go to the toilet or get something then it’s so hard to breathe and I get an intense pain in the right nipple. I think they have done the strapping too tight around my right nipple – shall I cut a bit around the armpit and cleavage to release the tension?

I don’t want it to rip more when I cut it?

I’m a little the same its in my left boob I get a weird pain like a pinch in the same place only when j stand or move for to long!! I think my strapping is pinching the incision xx

@daniellebrownjohn thanks for your reply, reassuring to know I’m not the only one. It also feels the same for me as though the strapping is pulling on the incision. I really hope it doesn’t get worse than this xx

Kills doesn’t it I’m day 5 now and one still hurts a lot more than the other like a punching burning sting by incision hope it’s normal xxx

@daniellebrownjohn Omg I’m only on day 3, gotta make it through to Friday until I get strapping off can’t wait!! I also have that pinching sensation by the right incision and nipple, I think it might just be the tightness of the strapping? Xx

I’m getting stabbing pains in my nipples at 25 days post op, it’s really quite uncomfortable! I’ve been told it’s completely normal to feel pain in your nipples at any point in the recovery. It is due to the stretching of the nerves and will resolve as the nerve relaxes. x
