Intermittent Sharp Pain

Hi All,

Hope everyone is doing ok. Just a bit concerned as I seem to be getting a sharp pain in my left incision every few minutes. It only started this evening and is not unbearable just causing me a little concern. I’m only 8DPO so guess things like this are still fairly normal. Last few days when I have leant forward I have felt like my implant has put a lot of pressure on that same incision (so much I’ve had to stand back upright quite quickly) however I attended my first post-op yesterday and the nurse said I was healing well (albeit I’m guessing perhaps not as fast as some as I’ve not been given the all clear to shower yet). Do you reckon this is just normal?

I had something like this!! it does go away but it was unbearable i know how you feel. Mine was due to a skin tag that had been caught during surgery and had stretched due to the skin and was covered with my bandage. felt so much better when i got my bandage changed but i thought something was seriously wrong so i went back to the clinic! it will get better i didnt have a clue what the pain was thats why i was so scared of something being seriously wrong. But it is normal xx

Thanks for the reply Hun. It wasn’t bad enough to stop me sleeping and seems to have gone again today. I do however now have some new very thin line shaped bruises on the outer part of that boob (as in the bit closer to my armpit). Will just keep an eye on them for now. Given that the pain had gone I’m not overly concerned at this point xx
