is it better under or over the muscle???

going under the muscle doesn’t necessarily look ‘more natural’, going over or under is literally a case of how much existing breast tissue you have, and your surgeon will tell you what is best for you. They both look natural, unders take longer to recover and the post-op pain may be slightly more than going over.

Get a 32c as well, for when the swelling etc goes down, because that’s what you will wear for the next weeks!

just in case anyone is following this thread….i saw Mr adamo today and it all went brilliant! i was sooooo nervous but my pc jody managed to calm me down b4 i went in and i dont even know why i was stressin as he was amazin! he is realy friendly and went thru everything and chose my implants and i have booked my op for may! i am havin 260 overs as he said i have enough tissue there which is great. he said they will defo look natural. all i need to do now is get my sports bra! xxx

I have been looking at having a breast enhancement and all the comments are making me want one even more now.Can i decide or does the surgeon suggest under or over muscle?I think i am going to phone up and make an appointment.!!

yeah I have been for my consultation now. I saw Jody in Birmingham and i am booked in to see mr adamo too!!! she was so sweet and explained everythin and made me feel really relaxed coz I was sooooo nervous! she said he is realy nice and will pick a size that is still natural. I had mine done 3 weeks ago too and I went under the muscle.I was the same size as you and my surgeon advised me that was best.

I love the results they look so natural!!:o)

You will probably have had your consultation now, so hope it went well and good look with your operation if you decide to go ahead.

Hi Lolly, I had mine done exactly 3 weeks ago today with MYA and I went over the muscle. At the consult your surgeon will decide what is best for you (and what is physically possible) based on your existing breast tissue. My surgeon Mr Adamo said he will be placing the implants over my muscle as I had enough existing breast tissue.

As Bertie 93 above has said, trust your surgeon, if you don’t have enough breast tissue already it is normally done under the muscle. Either way, the results look great, I think the only difference is that Unders are a tad more painful and recovery is slightly longer, but only slightly.

I had mine over too, but my best friend has her under. honestly it just depends on what your boobs are like now and what size you want them to be. trust the surgeon, if you don’t have a lot of breast tissue then i think the surgeon will say behind the muscle so it looks more natural. let me know how you get on.xx
