    Hi everyone!
I have booked to have my BA on the 7th of March… I have booked the week off work and thought I would be having overs and that would be enough time. I met with the surgeon on Thursday who has recommended unders, I know it will be more painful and now worried I don’t have enough time off work post op! I work in an office so nothing manual… Just wondering how everyone else felt after a week?

I’m a week post op and I could of gone to work today if it was just sitting down. Anything standing up and moving about much I wouldn’t. I get so out of breath quickly! I had unders xx

Thanks girls!! Oh hopefully I will be ok then!
Do you mind me asking how you have both found your first week? My partner will be back in work the day after I have had it done so I will be home alone, not sure how I’m going to get on! I exercise 5 days a week at the moment so think I’m going to struggle with the 6 weeks off! Hoping to get out walking asap! My sister had hers done 3 years ago, hers are overs, but thinks I’m being a bit unrealistic thinking I’m going to be up and about quite soon after! Sorry to bombard you lol just loads of things keep popping into my head!

When I had the op I woke up quite painless went home in the car ok and slowly up to bed. Slept quite well because of the medication but the next day I woke up in quite a lot of pain. I wouldn’t say pain actually but I could barely move. My arms were really restricted. I couldn’t reach over next to me to grab something on the unit. I would say if your alone your gunna need things right beside you. I couldn’t even open a bottle of water myself so just silly things like that xx

Well that’s how I was but you might cope better than me lol. But honestly around day 5 things are so much easier!! On day 3 you wouldn’t ever dream of seeing yourself doing things 2 days later but it just happens lol. Ah thanks Hun. I come on this forum knowing nothing but learnt so much along the way. Im happy with the results, just hope I get to keep most the size as they are a little smaller than I thought but you know what no complications n I’m very happy either way xx

They will be changing everyday until they settle properly so you might find the size ok! Glad you have had no issues , been good to read how everyone has got on and Iv found out loads of new things! I’m still stuck on the size I want, I’m between 325 and 350 can’t pick!! I’m more nervous about being under general anaesthetic and getting back to normal than anything else! Xxx
