Is this a hole in my incision? Please help!

I’m just over 5 weeks PO, and have noticed a small opening in one of my incisions, where the stitches were knotted at the end. I wouldn’t say it’s a hole, but it doesn’t seem to be drying out or closing up. It’s not painful or swollen. Has anyone else experienced anything like this?
Pictures have been taken over the last couple of days. My boyfriend thinks it’s a good sign that it’s not really changing, that it means it’s not infected, but I can’t stop worrying!
I’ve tried getting through to MYA but no luck. I have my 6 week appointment on Tuesday and basically just want to be told not to panic! Thanks girls 🙂 xx

it doesn’t look infected because the skin around isn’t red, and i am assuming it’s not hot? those are key signs of infection as well as generally feeling unwell. you could always pop to the doctors and see a nurse there? i am sure they could advise you on if it needs any further care xx

It’s not hot no. I’m not too worried about infection but I’m going to see my gp tomorrow just in case. More worried about implant exposure, my amazing pc was quick to reply and said she’ll forward the pictures to the nurse at Mya for me, so just waiting to hear back from them! xx

I’m 7 weeks post op n mine was like that till this week wen I had my 6 week check up last week nurse said all was fine the circles either end was because that’s where they tie stiches and they take longer to heal n heal from the inside out xx

@aybevans To be honest I’m not concerned. The nurse yesterday was really please with how I’m healing. I don’t think it’s an issue. Just think of how much they had to stretch our skin to get the gel in! It’s likely to be a bit bigger at one end. Actually, I don’t want to think about it lol! Urrgh! You ok? Please don’t worry xx

Thanks girls. I had a closer look last night and it just looks like I’m spitting a stitch. Not too worried about getting it seen to before my 6 week appointment on Tuesday so will just keep it clean and covered until then. Nothing to worry about after all ? Xx
