Is this bruising normal

Hello,

I had my breast enlargement don’t on Friday June 28th. I’m on day 4 now and one of my breasts is much larger that the other and has really bad bruising. Is this normal? I’ve got my post op appointment on Thursday but just getting a lil worried.

Hi, have you tried Arnica tablets? They’re meant to help with bruising and swelling x

The bruising all seems normal, especially as you’re only 4 days post op. I’m 10 days post op now and I still have bruising.

Also, I think the one side is probably bigger because of the swelling. My left side is still a bit bigger than my right and the nurse at my post op appointment said that it’s normal and it’s because they heal at different rates so I wouldn’t worry yourself about it too much xxx

Oh wow, I had this kind of blotching but I assumed it was a weird reaction to the hibi scrub I’d been washing with! It didn’t last long though so hopefully yours will be gone soon x

I had much more bruising and swelling on my right than my left. It was purple / black bruising. Not pretty but normal. X

Do you mind mr asking who your surgeon was @Gwen7? Xx

I’ve ordered some arnica tablets and creams so hopefully it will bring the bruising down. My left one has hardly any bruising it just seems to have gone all on the right.

So ended up having to have sugary again as I had blood clots. So be careful guys. If you have swelling a bruising on one breast more than the other phone the emergency number just in case. The picture I uploaded didn’t show the bruising to it’s full extent it’s was black underneath my right boob.
I had surgery yesterday and feeling much better. I wish I had made more fuss with the pain I was having but the symptoms were bruising and swelling so I didn’t know that it was not normal. Just wanted to put this here for everyone else to see as I would hate for someone to go as long with the discomfort. Xxx

I had mine on 29th but didn’t have any bruising. I hope your ok Gwen x

Much better now after having the blood clots removed. Just set my recovery back a bit. Hope your are loving your new boobs ? x

This one me the day of sugary. The bruising that came on day 3 and then after I had the blood clots removed.
The day one was what my boobs looked like when I left the hospital so didn’t think anything was weird. I only realised it wasn’t normal when I went back for my post op and the doctor had to be called. Just putting this up so then everyone can see. X

Ended up having to go back into surgery. ? much better now. See pics above. X

It ended up being blood clots so had to go and get them removed. On my 2nd day of recovery now. ? x
