Is this normal?!

Hi 🙂 I had my op 2 days ago and I’ve woke up today in less pain but I can’t feel my right boob what so ever! It feels like someone has an elastic band around it and it’s dead and lost most feeling in all the skin around it is this normal? Feels numb and like there is no circulation to the area, my left one feels similar but not half as bad as my right one and slightly worried 🙁 I keep taking my sports bra off every few hours because this helps a little bit but don’t really want to be doing this xx

Yeah I think it is normal. Parts of mine are completely numb too.
I’d try to keep the bra on as much as possible to give your new boobies the best chance of settling.

Ok thanks 🙂 will the bra being tight actually help? Feel like it’s suffocating me and so uncomfortable ? xx

Yeah I think it all feels pretty tight until the swelling subsides. I felt like I couldn’t breathe properly for a while!
I think it is meant to be tight to hold everything in place and give support.
It does feel wonderful to take it all off briefly doesn’t it? Before long, we will be free from these bras and bands altogether! 🙂

Yeah it feels loads better to take it off! I don’t have a band? I’ve heard people talking about them but I didn’t get given one. How long was it until you felt comfortable again? I’m not in loads of pain or anything just feels so tight and uncomfortable xxx
