Is this normal after surgery?

I’m 4 day post op and the first two days were fine, the pain was bareable as I was taking Co codamol and my antibiotics, however the past two days the pain has stayed pretty much the same but now I’m getting all day chronic migraines which are making me feel dizzy and I feeling sick and a burning feeling in the back of my throat, my mam thinks it’s too much co codamol so I’m gunna try stop taking it, did anyone else get the same?

Co codamol can make you quite sick! Think your mum is right. I know it’s different circumstances, but I had a very bad ear infection last year and was taking it for the pain. I wish I never! I was being sick all night, head was throbbing and my stomach was all over the place. I experienced it depends on how much you are taking. So maybe just slow down with it.

It’s most likely a side effect from the medication. It could be either the antiobiotics or the co-cocodamol. I stopped the co-codamol at day 3 because it made me so sick and knocked me out.
