Is this string inside my incisions?

So I’m just over 2 weeks post op now and although my incisions seem to be healing well I can see what looks like white string sticking out of each end!?!?!?! I haven’t been told anything so I’ve no idea if it’s normal or if it even is string? Please help ladies …. I’m having all sorts of visions of something being left inside that I’m not supposed to have!!

Could it be a stitch? They might be able to cut it down if it’s sticking out, sorry I’m not much help as still pre op but seen some things about stitches sticking out xx

I think it’s just the stitches babe 🙂 I’ve heard of that before. Xx

Hi babe we all have the same don’t worry. It will eventually work its way out. Im 3wks po and one of mine has disappeared. Dont pull or mess with it xxx

Did you have Mr Traynor by any chance? He leaves the ends of the stitches long 🙂 xx
