Itching

Hi girls did anyone else experience itching under the strapping? It’s got sooo bad I want to cry!! Just want to rip the strapping off 🙁 xxxx

I hated having the strapping on! The day I could have it taken off couldn’t have come any quicker!!
I started to itch about 2/3 day post op and I was like you, I told the nurse when she rang me to see how I was doing and she said it was part of the healing process so don’t worry about it! In fact when I went for my strapping off my incisions were fully closed and she said she knew they would be as I staryed to itch so early on!! Hold in there though… when I had my strapping off they didn’t really itch then 🙂

The itching is driving me crazy too I keep cutting bits away that’s digging in I had strapping all up my back that the nurse put on after drains I cut all that away and just have the strapping thats over boobs and underarm , can’t wait for Tuesday !!! Xx

Yea same!!!!! Do u still feel abit tender where ur drains were??? I’m having my strapping off on Tuesday too , xxxxx

Yes under my arms is where I’m sorest keep getting a shooting pain under left arm too, other than that I think I’m healing well but it is my second one, it was harder the first time. Xx

Ahh ok!! I don’t think I’m brave enough to do it again lol! I prob will though in time xxx

I itched ALOT with my strapping! Also the strapping made me get lots of spots too ( this is normal) I still itched on my incisions after my strapping got took off. It soon fades away 🙂 im 10 wk post op now and I can’t believe how natural they feel once the swelling goes down! Xx

Aww thsts so good to hear!! Aww I feel sad that my bob in journey is nearly over 🙁 xxxx
