Itching like crazy!

I’m on day 3 post op and I have plasters covering my stitches, but they’re itching like crazy which I’ve been told means they’re healing. Has anybody else had itching this bad after 3 days? Does it mean im healing quick? I’m just hoping when I go for my 1 week check up that I can have the plasters taken off if they have healed ok 🙂 xxx

I’m 5 days PO & mine only itches around the incisions, I do get burning pains around my incisions also

Yeah when I wake up I get burning pains just in my right stitches and always think I’ve pulled something 🙁 it’s horrible! My left one is pain free and right one is awful! X

I still get itching now and I’m 9 weeks post op drives me crazy?but I think it’s worse when you have plasters covering the incisions or the strapping covering everything I took my strapping off after 3 days as I couldn’t take the itching nomore?xx

My itching was actually unbearable but it died down about 6 days po xx

Its so weird some times the itching bothers me more than the pain ? and I take piriton every day because I have allergies to other things and helps with rashes and stuff but that’s not helped ? so annoying! Just hope I can have the plasters removed on Tuesday xxx
