Itching post op!

Hey girls,
Just wondered if anyone else has had a lot of itching post op? Mine started yesterday and was mostly on my sides and underneath but it’s all around my back now too which I can’t reach without find a corner and doing a Baloo haha.
I’m starting to think it may be the Macom bra though now that is causing the itch? I want to take it off for 10 mins but ill never get it back on again!
Might try and order a cotton one to swap to online- i hear m&m, John Lewis and asda all make a good supportive cotton bra suitable post op?

When did you have your op? I was the same for the first 3/4 days after op but it’s one of the side affects of the anaesthetic apparently! I just wacked loads of moisturiser on and that seems to help xx

Ah maybe that’s it then @emhough94, I only had my op Thursday so still early days 🙂 I’m trying not to itch and keep ice on them but now and again just have to reach for a pen to scratch haha.

Did you have morphine? It’s a side effect of morphine too?

Omg I had my op on Wednesday and haven’t stopped itching it’s driving me as hahaha

Yeah it’s nothing to worry about lovely! It will stop soon, mins fine now! And yeah i think ya fine, I’ve been moisturising from 2dpo with a cocoa & shea butter for stretch marks just incase ha!! Aslong as you avoid the incisions it’s all good!! Xx

I was the same x my partner scratched me few times a day on my back , it was so itchy think it’s normal

Glad it’s not just me and seems to.be normal 😀 Yeah I had morphine and did have a little rash from it on one boob when I came around but has pretty much gone.
Getting a little bit of popping/squelching too which was a bit odd!! Went to put a little cream on my cleavage and was horrified haha – apparently its quite normal too though so i’m just gonna stick to ice!! 😀 Happy healing everyone! (.)(.) Xx

I’m 17dpo and I’m still so itchy! It’s all part of the healing process but also wearing a bra 24/7 does irritate.
Since I had my 2 week check and nurse said it’s ok to shower I shower every day and moisturise paying special attention to the areas that the bra rubs. I also change between different bras morning and night so that it’s not rubbing on exactly the same place all time. X

Did anyone find the strapping unbearably itching !? Mine was okay until today I’m 5 days post op and it’s driving me mad I wanna rip it off I’m so itchy !!!!
