I feel your pain L the strapping drove me mad I couldn’t take it was walking aroung with gritted teeth was wrapped up like a christmas present couldnt even see my nips couldnt sleep because of it lol have you got strapping covering everything? i was booked in with the nurse to have it removed at 10 days post op but at day 4 I couldn’t handle it anymore so called the nurse who said that it could be removed at 5 days post op so I went I’m the next day but that night I took the scissors to it had to cut down the middle a little it got to much with the itching and tightness.
I was using antibacterial wet wipe to wipe around the strapping and under my arms hope that it doesn’t drive you too mad xx

Hollie – My recovery is going well so far thanks. I’ve been achy and sore and my chest feels heavy but thats all to be expected I think. Will be worth it in the end 🙂
Kim – That’s what I’m like! Finding it very hard to sleep with this strapping on. I keep trying to move onto my side while I’m asleep then the pain wakes me up. I have the strapping pretty much all over except for the nipple. So can’t wait to see what they look like when its taken off. I am booked in to get mine taken off 9 days PO, I did ring up my clinic and ask it to be moved to earlier next week but they don’t have any space to move it. Hopefully I can last till then!! xx

Aww I really feel for you, mine was so itchy in the days up to removal. I thought I was going to go crazy. A few of the girls have said try antihistamine if its really bad, but I never got round to that so not sure if it works. Hope it calms down soon xxxx

@hollie I’m bit of a different case have scoliosis of the spine which also affects my chest wall so my left side protrudes forward more making the left breast seem bigger and the right breast seemed further back so I had a 330cc moderate profile in the left and a high profile 345cc in the right. My left breast is bigger and fuller compared to the right then before the op my surgeon is thinking of making the left smaller but am worried about having a saggy boob I have rippling and when I lay on my left side my boob goes right under my armpit the rippling is really bad on the inner cleveage area just got to sit the waiting game now will be seeing my sergeon in June so will hopefully have a better idea of what’s going to happen next and get the ball rolling to get them matched better xx

Oh really, oh I hope you get it all sorted, will all be worth it in the end. My strapping comes off Tuesday hopefully all ok, think I’m more nervous about the strapping coming off than the actual surgery lol. Good luck 🙂 xxx

Is it really painful having the strapping taken off? I feel like its superglued to me do they literally just pull it off r do they apply something to help loosen it as mine feels welded to me! I feel like I can’t breath it’s so tight

@MrsStansby13 No, its not painful more a relief 🙂 The nurse used a wipe to wet the edge bits, held the skin taut and peeled it off. She even gave the area around my stitches a wee itch for me as they were so itchy and i couldn’t see ha ha xxx

Ah wow really?? Thank you for replying and helping me out! I had breast implants before but last time t was a different surgeon and he didn’t use the strapping… This stuff is like bulletproof it’s so thick and strong I just can’t wait to get it off today I really feel like its suffocating me like its hard to breath. Xxx
