So today is day 5 post op of my full tummy tuck and Ba combined.
I’m writing this for those who want to know more info.
I’m 23 years of age and been left with wrinkles, shrivelled skin from my two pregnancys. I’m 5ft2 and 7st4.. So quite small.
I’ve wanted this done for over 3 years but I knew I wanted to have two children first so I have my family.
On the 25th August I was admitted to Preston first trust at 8am to have my op with Mr Traynor.
He drew on me , and had a little chat and giggle with him. He’s a lovely man!! I went down to theatre at 12pm.
When I come back round at 2.30 I was still away with it and didn’t come round for a while!
At 3pm I started passing out. I passed out 3 times.
My blood pressure dropped. My oxygen dropped and my heart rate rapidly increased.
I was out on oxygen and monitored every 5 mins.
Cut a long story short.. I had to have a blood transfusion because my body was shutting down and I was loosing so much blood.
I also had a bleed in my right breast.
No one knew why it was happening, but the main thing was they stablized my body.
I got sent home 2 days later( was only suppose to be in for a night) I have a drain which is nearly full now so I’m panicking a little.
I go to see Mr Traynor on Tuesday so hopefully I’m on the mend.
Today’s the day I’ve felt my best and I’m still very tired and restricted. But I’m mobile (very slowly)
My breast don’t hurt , it’s just me tummy and it’s so swollen!! My appetite is still good though.
I can’t look after my children atall and its day 5 post op. I was expecting it to be a lot easier. Silly me.
I’ve had a peep at my tummy and even thought it’s very swelled, WOW it looks amazingggggg!!!! I’m in love and can’t wait for the future.
The main thing is to stay positive which is hard when your restricted in so many ways.
I hope this helps people who are having tt or tt and ba together . I’ll upload photos of my journey soon 🙂
