    Hello lovely ladies.

Hope you can help. I am now at a stage in my life that I can realistically start researching and looking forward to changing my boobs, and for it to soon be a reality. However with 2 toddlers close together by the time evening comes I’m too knackered to sit staring at a screen for ages and not really getting anywhere with regards to information.

I’m looking to find out what all the terms mean.. For example ..
The different cc sizes in implants and what breast size this implant typically ends up
    Overs, under?
    High profile, ultra high?

I am a young (ish) mum of two who had a nice pair before having kids but now they have sucked the life out of them I need them back! Apparently I am sized currently at 30FF (panache is what I’m currently wearing) however they have very little perkiness and feel more like a b than and f.

Hope you can help me ladies, I’m totally utterly confused.

    Thanks, Mel xxx

Hey Mel! I must admit it can be a bit confusing to begin with! CC’s as units are much easier to deal with than cup sizes (which differ from person to person, brand to brand). Most girls tend to go between 275 and 400 but not all!

Moderate, MOD plus, high and ultra high are all profiles. Basically how far it sticks out. I have ultra high profile which means the projection and breast is further out.

Overs, unders and partials refers to where that implant is placed. Over is over the muscle but behind the breast tissue, under is completely under the muscle and partial is under one layer of muscle. There are a few different reasons why surgeons chose the placement of the implant but you don’t really need to worry about it.

If you’re a FF already with the feeling of a B you might be offered an uplift and implants too. Lots of people have this and can look really good.

I went from 34B to probably about 34E now with 480cc ultra high profile overs. If you’d like to have a look at my progress you’re welcome to add me 🙂 xx

That’s fab thanks so much. It’s much easier reading about it when everything’s together.
I was thinking I would probs need uplift too, can’t imagine implants siting where my natural breast sits. So excited already and I haven’t even started my journey. If you don’t mind, I would love to see your journey. V new to this forums thingy lol xx

It’s difficult to know what would be best to be honest! I was panicking so much the weeks leading up to my surgery! It was at the point where I was making so many excuses to not have my BA done!

Just one tip that I’ve learned as far as sizing is concerned. If a lady has 375 implants and ends up a big size ie F cup, it’s usually because they have a very small waist/chest measurement. Probably a 28 or 30 chest. Whereas if a lady had a 34 inch chest the exact same implant would be a D cup size. The bra cup size gets smaller with the chest size, so an F cup can actually be the same cup as a D in a bigger chest size. I hope this makes sense!

I was told by so many girls that my boobs would be an F or G when really they are a DD or E. It’s because we have different chest sizes. It had me very upset the night before my BA. A bit confusing! Best to go with your surgeons recommendations as far as size is concerned. It can worry you silly on these forums. Xxxx
