just ordered domino’s, had a voucher for 20% off so may aswel! I’m leaving at 9am just to make sure I dont get stuck in traffic or anything! I dont know whether to have breakfast or not, i mean your not supposed to eat for 6 hours before admission time and I’m being admitted at 3.30pm so surely i can eat a slice of toast when i get up at 7.30am?!xx

Sorry was hooked on Eastenders, what an episode. It says you need to take:
Nightwear, dressing gown and slippers
Personal toiletries (towel provided)
Books / magazines
Button or zip-up clothing to leave in.

No make-up – i’m removing mine when i get there
No nail varnish, fingers and toes
No piercings
No false nails

You might want to make sure you have a pillow to put across your chest for the journey home, i have heard this rally helps.

AAAHHHH sooooo exiting, still cant believe its going to happen, dont think reality has set in yet, had most of the above, good idea to get some magazines or something, theres not much point in taking deoderant or showergel is there as we wont be allowed to shower in the morning will we?! I’m just getting ready!!! Going to leave in about half hour as the journey is about 3 hours without traffic so dont want to risk leaving later.
I just had 2 pieces of toast for breckie, gutted I cant have any lunch!

I kept waking up through the night asking what time it was! I’m really exited but at the same time it feels a bit surreal, like its not going to happen to me!!

aww you two are so lucky to be going to the clinic tomorrow. I have to go to the Cardiff clinic and they cant see me until Tuesday, I’l be 10 days post op by then!!xx

Was starting to worry about you, i was there about 11.45. OMG wasn’t that just the worst ever having them removed, i was in agony, all done now though.

Thanks hun, im okay. Yes, taking the bandage off was really uncomfortable, especially the back!
Generally, im feeling fine day to day, but the common problem is getting up in the mornings and wen im sat in a position for a while – i seemed to get locked in that position, taking time to get back up lol. I had 340cc from 34a. We went away for a few nights to oxford and brighton, just stayed in most of the time though, trying to take it easy as i was more tired than normal. As for telling people, i thikn they would be fine but i just thought its easier than having to explain to everyone.

The only thing im patiently waiting for, is when they are likely to become softer so i can push them together lol! way to stiff at the moment. Do you know how long this takes, weeks, months?

Don’t laugh, but i had to be laid down as i almost past out with the pain of the bandages coming off, it was awful.
I wasa told by the time i go to my 6 week check up that they will have settle completely, so not to log to wait.

Hey girls,

I removed most of the tape myself friday as it was irritating my skin real bad (I did phone the nurse and she said it was ok!) I’ve left the tape over where the scar will be tho, was too scared to even go near there so sort of cut the tape around that area!

I’m so sticky now tho, tried those Zoff wipes but they made my skin real sore, think i had a reaction to the tape as my skin was all red when it came off.

I’m ok now tho apart from my bra sticking to my boobs!

How do the scars look? I’m having the rest taken off Tues and I’m scared i’m going to have huge cuts accross each boob!

I think my swelling has gone down a lot tho as my boobs are staring to look more natural!

Your be glad to know you can now shower head to toe.

I was told by the nurse that witch hazel is really good at getting the sticky bits off, i was also quite red when it was removed and i have some nasty bruises on the left side.
I haven’t looked at the scars, when the bandages were taken off she asked me if i would like to take a look as i was already about to pass out so i said no, then she put some steri strips over the incisions, but my partner saw and said they were really good just small dark lines. x x x

Hi there – i had my BA done on Wed at Highgate with Mr Adamo and i travelled up from Colchester – what a small world!!

The staff at Highgate are great and they really make you feel comfortable and put your mind at ease. When you first arrive at the hospital, it looks really small, but when you get inside, its huge!

As i was a day stay i was on the ground floor in room 209!

The whole experience is great – just enjoy it and relax x

Yeah i am having an overnight stay as well, paying enough might as well make the most of it. Im currently a 34a/b and im going for 410 unders, Dr Kazzazi said this will make me a D cup. Your have to let me know what you look like hun and i will keep an eye out for you, your recognize me i will be the blonde shaking at the knees. Okay i am really excited but nervous at the same time. I was told by my patient co-ordinator that he will suggest two sizes and that i should go for the biggest one, as i will be use to them in no time and wish i had gone for the bigger ones x x x

I getting nervous now too, i have been told to get there for 3.oopm! and ruby had been asked to get there for 2.00pm. It nice that we can chat to people that are going as well, in a way it calms my nerves a bit knowing that i’m not going to be the only one there. 505 WOW, what are you already and what is it your hoping your new boobies to be. Your right i thought traveling back to Colchester was going to be bad enough, i do feel for you. x x x

I’m currently wearing a d cup bra but they just dont have as much life in them as they used to! I’ve had two children! I’m hoping they are going to be like an E afterwards… getting nervous now but so, so, so exited! bought a nice oversized shirt to wear home! Not really sure exactly what I need to take into hospital tho!! xx

Me too… I’m just scared about the anaesthetic!! I’l be with my mum (hubby’s looking after the kids!) and I’ve got short (dyed) blonde hair! It doesnt even feel real yet!xx

I know what you mean its just come round so quick. Thats the bit i,m worried about (needles in generally freak me out) and also having the draining tubes removed afterward, do you know what you need to take with you yet or would you like me to tell you x x x

no i’m not sure what I’m supposed to take, was thinking pj’s, toothbrush, comfy clothes to wear home, sports bra??? what do you think? I had a drain in my tummy after my c-section when I had my son, it didnt hurt at all having that taken out, barely felt it so dont worry about that! Just the though of being under freaks me out, what if I dont wake up!!!xx
