July 2020 surgery

Hi lovelies just wondering if there is anyone that has had surgery’s in July 2020. I know other girls have made a what’s app group for everyone that had surgery around the same time. I think it would be nice to help each other & share experiences x

Hi, I have my op booked in this month…. What are the guidelines for having someone with you? Is it a case of being dropped off then picked up when your ready to go home? X

I had my surgery 5 days ago. I wasn’t allowed anyone with me. When I went in I had to put on a mask and sanitise my hands. I had to wear the mask until I was being put under and then I didn’t have to wear it until I was exiting the building. My partner just had to drop me off and a nurse escorted me to the car when he picked me up. x

Hope your recovering well. Yeah the nurse said when I had my pre op, he is just going to stay nearby as I have an overnight stay x

Hi girls, can I just ask, did any of you have to self isolate for 14 days before surgery? Just got told this is what I’ll have to do x

Yes, I’ve also had to self isolate. Luckily I was able to just work from home so didn’t mean losing any pay x

I’m due to have my surgery on 21st July..:eeekk!! I too was told to isolate for 14 days and had to have Covid test done. X
