June 13th its finally here!!!

Wow so i had my first consultation april 4th and today has flew around! Im at the preston first trust at 2pm going for 400cc unders from a flat 32 a with mr traynor.

Currently sitting stuffing my face with crumpets as i cant eat after 8am. I have never had anesthetic before so my thought is crumpets are quite plain and if im sick when i wake up theres not a lot to fetch back up (gross i know). I also have braids in my hair so i dont have to worry about doing my hair for the next week and have hairdresser appointments already booked to wash and rebraid my hair.

Can i take my piercings out when im in the hospital before i get took down to theatre? Or do they have to be taken out before i get to the hospital? I would rather take them out as last minute as i could.

Im going to keep myself busy this morning and hope 11am comes around quick enough as thats when i will be leaving Sunderland to get there.

I dont feel nervous just yet but im sure i will once i get my gown and paper knickers on!

I suppose it depends how many piercings you have lol I’m sure you will have enough time to take them out when you get there.

My piercing plan is to take them all out at home and replace with easy to remove studs (think butterfly studs people wear in their lobes) that way I can take them all out just before the OP and not stress about it. Then I can put them in after really easily and sort the proper jewelry out at home later. I have about 20 though so maybe I’ve overthought this!!!

I dont have a lot of piercings but i have 2 cartlilige peircings in my ear which ive always had bother with and i think they will close up if i leave the pericings out too long x
