Just booked my consultation : )

Hi everyone I have finally been brave enough to book my consultation with mya at Chelmsford!
I have had two babies so my poor boobies have suffered and have wanted this for a long time but have always put it off as mothers do!!
I was just wondering if anyone could give me some idea on what to expect at the consultation and any advice really as I’m so nervous ( I know nervous just at the consultation it’s crazy but underneath that is super excitement to see what they can do for me)

Aww bless you .. I just had my surgery yesterday check my profile and my post “love my boobs” if that helps. Well at the consultation you will asked what are your expectations and everything don’t be nervous nor closed minded either cause they would only want the best for u. I went with DR fazel he is really amazing and he has his own clinic and the good thing about him is no compliant what so ever nor painful drains as I hear nor strapping. Don’t wanna scare you but they are pros and cons to everything my dear so go open minded and tell them what you looking to acheieve and they will fit you with the right surgeon. If you have any more questions feel free to add me x it’s one of the most important decisions in your life so don’t be afraid to ask lots of questions and also write some down just in case u forget x

Yea I do have in mind what I would like as the outcome but will definitely take on board their advice! I think I will need an uplift as well as implants. Xx

Hi sophy I know what you mean it’s not easy to find someone who u can communicate to but when you do it does feel great :). Am okay just a some chest pains and taking my meds nothing major . Also finding it weird sleeping upright. My bum hurts lol as my bed isn’t as hard as the hospital bed lol in miss the hospital bed and massage on my feet. Well your PC will tell you if you need a lift and implants or just implants. Also don’t worry So much about cc sizes as everyone is different. Some people who have more cc come out with less celvage than people who had less cc and more breast tissue. So listen to your surgeon and hopefully he would recommend what is good for u and your body x

Glad your not in to much pain : ) Yea that will be strange sleeping upright!! How long after your consultation did you then meet with your surgeon?? I know strange question as I will have to do it at some point (as much as this make me anxious) but I’m assuming then at the consultation I will have show them my boobs : ( one part I’m not looking forward to but have to be brave!! X x

Yea it’s was so awkward for me like I was so shy. But my Pc made me feel comfortable. And yes be brave you would be fine. The worst was showing my boobs to the surgeon ..so awkward as no one seen mine apart from my husband and my sis I had to be brave.

I know this is my main fear as I know it’s awful but I don’t even let my partner as I’m so disgusted by them : ( he said to me the other day well that means you will have to let them see your boobs bless him but if I want it done I need to get over that at least hopefully in the end I will be proud of them. Plus the surgeons see them everyday that’s what everyone says to me to keep me positive lol I’m super excited the more I talk about it just hope I am not disappointed after any of the appointments x x

Erm I’m actually s***ing myself haha!
I know I should feel excited but I always overthink things and just keep thinking about what they’re going to do ????????????‍ Trying to stop doing that though! Lol!
My surgeon consultation was about 2 months after my initial consultation, but only because I was unsure and the price put me off at first !
I knew I’d want it done after seeing the surgeon (if went well) so I spent awhile thinking about the costs etc.
I think you can see the surgeon as quickly as you like though ? – within their diary being free. xx

That’s what I’m like I was getting nervous just ringing them and now I have booked it I have surprised myself I’m more excited to see what they say with a bit of nervousness!! Yea I’m hoping to do it sooner rather then later so I can’t talk myself out of it lol like I said my main fear is showing them my boobs and then when it comes to surgery getting put under as I have never had anything like that it’s a scary thought!! We’re are you having yours done!?? X x

I am going for consultation on Tuesday so excited!! Have been wanting to do it for ages but never dare do anything about it so now I have rang them and booked it I feel I am more ready and prepared!! I don’t know what surgeon I suppose they will pair me up with one on Tuesday is that how it works!! Bless ya you will be fine I’m sure but I’m sure I will be nervous wreck to I’m so worried about getting my boobs out : ( x x

Yea the surgeon they see boobs all the time and it means nothing to them it’s their job and they are very professional while asssesing you. my surgeon Dr Fazel is amazing! ????

Hay Lindsay I didn’t even realise you had messaged me sorry : ( yea had my app was good apart from he was over an hour late so made my nerves even worse haha he is so straight to the point and confident I have never met anyone like him but that’s a good thing i suppose!! He said he will do 325cc mod plus unders no biggger else they will sag!! The one thing he did say was I wouldn’t get the upper fullness so that just worried me a little as you always have an image in your head of what you think they will look like in the end and that kind of changed it but my pc assured me they will not be saggy lol he did say he can give me a good outcome!! I have got my pre op on Saturday will they tell me the time I have to be at the hospital on this app!?? X x how are you!?? X x

No I will have a look on your profile!! Well I didn’t get a bit worried when he said not having the upper fullness but I think any improvement will be a plus!! Oh right it’s crazy how quick time is going : ) how have you been in recovery!?? Well I see that mya does the post op bras 2 for £60 what ones did you get!?? I need to get one of the v pillows still any recommendations!?? Xx

I don’t see why you wouldn’t get at least some upper fullness? Maybe it’ll be a nice surprise if you do !
I must admit, it was (is) a lot more painful than I thought, but I’m glad I had the surgery!
I brought the MYA ones, but then also brought 2 Macom as well as they offer more support and open at the front !
I’ve only really been wearing the MYA ones when I’m washing the Macom tbh! They are expensive but worth it, and after the surgery you just want to feel supported, especially once the strapping is off.
I actually got 2 x V pillows from Argos (haha) and they’re great!
I’ve been using 4 normal pillows & 2 V pillows to sleep.

Yea I am excited but very nervous!! Yea I have heard about the Macom ones I like the look of them how did you know what size to get tho!! Blimey I need to get some more pillows then haha am abut worried about how I am going to be after the surgery!! Will try and do my normal day to day stuff and realise I can’t will be annoying!! X x
