Just had a baby 4 months ago

I’m really interested in this procedure but wondering if anyone has had experience with having the procedure and has kids as I am worried about the healing how long it will be until I can pick my son up I understand you can’t for the first week but what about after that??

You have a few weeks post op where you can’t lift heavy things like baby’s. I know girls in here have had babies under 1 and managed fine.

Depends on your healing rate. I am 13 days post op and just been advised that as of Monday I can pick my 2 year old up but only when I really need too. It’s manageable if you have plenty of help x

I have a toddler and had my surgery 6 days ago. My surgeon advised I can not lift / carry my child for 3 – 4 weeks. My best friend has temporarily moved into my apartment for the next few weeks to help me out as I’ve been advised not to lift and my implants are under the muscle so I cant put any strain on them. It’s been difficult as my son has been asking for me to pick him up and says he wants cuddles, so I just kneel down to him and cuddle him. It’s all do-able if you have the right help and support though babe, honestly xxx
