Just had consultation with Brian Musgrove :)

Well I have finally decided to bite the bullet and get my nose sorted, getting married next year so wanted to leave plenty of time to heal and for the swelling to go down.

Yesterday I had my consultation at Manchester Lifestyle hospital with Brian Musgrove who was great, very knowledgeable and honest about the results I can expect, which is good because I think I’ve been very realistic already and he backed up everything i had researched. He made me feel very at ease, and I think I’m good with my instincts about people and I think I’ve definitely made the right surgeon choice.

So far the whole experience for me has been very refreshing, Jodie at the Birmingham Clinic has been looking after me and she has been wonderful. Her recommendation to see Brian made me take the trip up to Manchester and I am sooo glad I did. I was actually surprised how easy it was to get to the clinic, so not dreading the trip up for the actual op.

I’ve got to have septorhinoplasty which is good I guess as no scars and my wonky nose will finally be gone…just need to sort the money now!!

I’m finally beginning to look forward to having my photos taken on my wedding day instead of adopting my usual turn the head to the left and tilt it down thing haha

Anyone else having rhinoplasty?

I hope you don’t mind me contacting you. I know exactly how you feel about having photos taken etc. I’m the same – been dreaming of ‘magically’ fixing my nose for a long time but I’m so terrified of the surgery and of thinking I look worse after than before, and I know my family would be so awkward and disapproving about it. I feel that it spoils my face completely.

I went to the Harley medical people for a consultation in Cardiff about 6 months ago and they made me feel really uncomfortable, bad vibes you know?

Anyway, I was wondering how you have found MYA and how your op went? (very well I hope!)

If you don’t mind chatting to me about it I’d be so grateful – everyone else seems to be on here for a boob job
