Just out of procedure..concerned

Hey girls

I had a breast enlargement back in 2012. 260cc L and 300 R…round over muscle. By 2016 my own breast tissue had really thinned around them and there was a lot of rippling etc. Also sagging and no volume at top of breast.

I went for my removal and replacement surgery this morning. (With a different surgeon) I had 440cc teardrop placed under muscle. My surgeon is skilled and also performed a rhinoplasty on me 2 years ago so I do trust him. He told me at consultation that I am almost in need os skin tightening lift but he didn’t want to do that and thought we could correct the problem pretty well with the under, teardrop bigger implant.

Now I am home and just changed into a better bra and my mum and I notice my left breast (the more deteriorated one) has an indent under the nipple..with the nipple almost seeming like loose skin. Looks really terrible and I of course panicked. I am all too aware having been through BA before that breasts take time to settle, drop etc. So I wouldn’t worry about them being high, tight or whatever.
It’s just this indent. Could it be because of the skin not taking or something?
Has anyone had a similar experience and does it resolve with the implant dropping etc?

So distraught. I did ring clinic straight away who obviously just told me not to look and to wait until I see nurse, surgeon again etc.

Hey hun – hopefully it’s all normal. I know it’s hard to resist the temptation to look but you shouldn’t have ?
Add a pic at some point so we can see. But hopefully in a few weeks it will have sorted it’s self out. Try not to worry too much. ?

Thanks lovely…I know it is hard to not fret over every tiny thing…I have been through this before so thought I knew what to expect but oh boy ..this unders game is a totaaalllly different experience. I’m actually not bandaged up, just incision tapes..so only reason I got a peak was when changing into more comfortable sports bra! Hope you don’t mind I added you as a friend 🙂

Of course not hun. Yeah unders is tough early on but after a couple of weeks it defo gets easier. I never had bandages either so yeah it’s easier to have a peak!!
I had teardrops also. X

Just looked at your pics and you look amazing!! Just beautiful. I posted a few of my concerning 2nd day pics on another post I made earlier 🙁 Got some tramadol off nurse today as pain was so bad..helping a bit
