Hi I’m having an uplift and under muscle implants in August and wondered if I will be able to go back to my normal workout after the op. Obviously will give my body 6-8 weeks to recover but will I be able to do kettle bells and weights again? Just worries me as the implant will be under the chest muscles that get used quite a lot during these workouts. Thanks 🙂 x

Hey hun my surgeon told me id never be able to work on my chest muscles again because it will move the implant, i had unders too. But im 6 month po and doing everthin in the gym fine, not too strenuous but what id normally do, so id just give it a few month until ur comfortable and then build ur way up 🙂 look at jodie marsh haha! Although i think she might of had overs :/ lol xxx

Thanks 🙂 I’ve just heard scary stories about implants moving after doing strenuous exercise. I’ve lost a lot of weight so need to tone up and kettle bells have been so good for that would hate to give them up. Yeah I’ve heard body builders are advised to have overs due to risk of displacement but they lift really heavy weights xx

Well you can work on chest it’s not impossible but it probably will alter the shape of your boobs into a less attractive position. I’m a fitness instructor and obviously understand how important it is to work all muscle groups but I can safely say I won’t be training chest. X

I’m pretty new to exercise so might sound silly but can I still do squats and lunges with weights as long as I’m not swinging them like I would with a kettle bell . Also can I still tone my arms with weights without using my chest muscles? Thanks 🙂 xx

Yea course, do lower body all day if u wanted to. Just be careful with upper body things like bicep curls will be fine but just remember when your working triceps you work chest so just watch what sort of exercises u do for triceps. For example I wouldn’t recommend tricep dips. X

It seems very complicated lol. I guess once I have it done I will be able to judge my limits. I definitely don’t want to take any unneeded risks. Thanks for your help 🙂 x
