kidney infection-help!

i am 18 days away from my op and i am pretty sure i have got another kidney infection! i had one over xmas and was really unwell and off work for nearly 2 weeks! do i contact my nurse if i go docs and get antibiotics for it? i can be a bit prone to water and kidney infections xx

i had a infection 2 weeks before hand and was on antibiotics my doctor gave them my medical history and included it and they needed to go over it with the anesthetic person and he had do review it and confirm if i was allowed my app so they do like to know, hope this helps xx

Yeah uou should tell your nurse I had a sinus infection 3 weeks before and I’ve got tonsillitis now I had to inform her both times and she had to inform my surgeon who then decided if I could still go ahead luckily I got the all clear and my op in on Sunday. It’s best to tell them for your own safety Hun x

thanks ladies for all your advice! 🙂 i think it was really severe period pains now i have come on this evening as well, i don’t get periods for months at a time so they are incredibly painful and crippling and stop me peeing properly 🙁 yay no antibiotics needed! xx
