Hiya, I asked to see a lady doctor at my local dr surgery, bit embarrassed to be examined, but they’ve seen it all! Basically inner labia hung too low, and I didn’t like it. If they think just psychological (ie,embarassed) may not do.I also said physically uncomfortable, rubs on underwear, if exercising/cycling etc. painful.
Obviously short waiting list,as I was surprised referral within 2 weeks.
Went along to private hospital, and repeated story. This lady doctor said could do, not sure if on NHS, otherwise £3000 (not sure I would have rushed ahead if 3K)
Anyway, she made a phonecall and came back and said ”Labiaplasty has slipped through the loophole and is still on the NHS, it does not need to go to a funding panel at all to see if they will pay for it”. She gave me a high 5 and booked me for 2 weeks later.
Really simple procedure, and virtually no pain.
Don’t mention at doctors if free, just get referral, which is free, and only mention if the hospital say not on the NHS, that you had heard it is still on NHS.
