Hi girls!!!! 3 more sleeps, just checking I’ve got everything I need?

Sports bra- one for swelling then another for after?
Dressing gown
Slippers
Magazine
iPad
Phone charger
Clothes to come home in
V pillow
Sweets?
Anything else I need?

Ps. Is it also true I need to wash my body with an anti bacterial was the day before?

Yes you’ll need to wash with antibacterial the day before, you also can’t apply moisturiser to your body or deodorant. Apparently roll on deodorant is recommended for post-op, straws are also useful as you might not be able to lift your drink high enough when you tilt your head back. Also make sure your clothes to come home in are front fastening too and loose fitting 🙂 xx

Antibacteral – what do you use ha 1st this that springs to mind is Detol ha… good luck i cant wait to start packing my bag! xx

I think there’s a special shower gel you can use but I’m not sure what it’s called. I remember my mam got me some before I had an operation 2 years ago x

I wasn’t told anything about antibacterial wash and my op is on friday! All I was told is that I can only eat up to 6 hours before and drink up to 2 hours before my admission time and was told no nail varnish. xx
