    Hi Girlies!!

I have my op next Thursday, 5th March and going out this weekend to buy all the essentials (including sports bra’s) I’ve read that marks and spencers and asda are good for sports bras!? I am unsure on what size to buy though! I am either having 425cc or 450cc partials from a small empty 34C any suggestions?

Also, I have untold amounts of tracksuits but are there any other essentials I need?

    Thanks!! xx

I’m not sure on the bra size but with regards to your op I used hardly anything apart from my v pillow and a zip up hoody for leaving the hospital. There is generally a dressing gown in your room which I wore down to theatre. Take some stuff to entertain you I guess aswell xx

I read a lot about M&S front zip up bras on here, so got myself two, one in a D and one in DD.. it’s really comfy and doesn’t come anywhere near the incisions. Not sure what size though xx

Hi Girls! Thank-you for replying, I’m starting to get really nervous and worried! I’m fine with pain and needles etc but so worried I am going to be too big but don’t want boob greed! I am going to go and get some stuff on the weekend! How are you both doing with pain etc? Any tips?

I had overs so my pain has been really minimal. I’ve had a really good recovery and took my strapping off on day 4. Just make sure you rest the first few days as they are most crucial x

I also had overs, so not been in any pain, just uncomfortable and a bit nauseous from the painkillers but fine other than that. Make sure you rest, I find that even if I think I’m ok to move, I get tired very very quickly and need a nap straight after xx

    I’ve got;
    Joggers
    Zip up tops
4 sports bras & 1 macom (bra overload lol)
    Lots of ibuprofen
    Sanex zero
    Dulcolax (just incase)
    V pillow
    Antibacterial wipes
    Cocoa butter stretch mark lotion
    Straws. lol.

Can’t think of anything else I’ll need?

And I’ve booked in 6 days later at the hairdressers for a cut and blow dry so I don’t have to wash it myself. X

Sounds all good girls! Thankyou!! I’ve tried to email my PC about what size sports bra but haven’t heard anything back yet :S

I need to get writing a list for sure!! Cut and blow dry sounds perfect I’m a bit clumsy so that would be best and dry shampoo just doesn’t cut it!!

I have my op on Thursday and have to return to work Wednesday 11th (I’m a receptionist so mostly sit at a desk typing all day etc) I am hoping that I’ll be okay as cover is a struggle 🙁

    xx
