I am due to have my vaser on Saturday and am having nerves/doubts. I’m mostly worried about the scars on the body and the recovery period. With regards to the recovery period, I’d be less worried if it was winter, as now we’re getting hot weather wearing the compression garment and being unable to go outside and do things is making me doubt going through with it. There’s also the thought that I should just exercise more and have a strict diet.
    Anyone else feel like this?

@bigben I was nervous before I had my procedure too, but I’m so glad I did it! I’m so much happier with my body now, it was nothing i could of achieve with exercise and diet! Also the recovery time will go a lot quicker than you expect, honestly its all worth.

Me too @bigben !!! I had it Monday and literally was ready to shoot myself yesterday but then I can assure you that the bad bits only last a short time and 3 days after surgery I actually feel ok, almost better than I thought possible and am glad i did it! Also I had some unexpected issues and would prob not even feel this bad if I hadn’t had to have a general anaesthetic. Don’t worry too much about the scarring, I scar really badly (semi keloid) and my incisions are absolutely tiny already so i am hopeful they will be completely gone or barely visible. I would have to be very skinny (unhealthly so) to get rid of the pockets of fat I had removed – especially from the inner thighs so for me personally it was the best solution. Good luck on Sat if you decide to go ahead x

Thanks Alana. It’s the recovery that’s concerning me. It seems like a bit of a nightmare wearing the garment for 4 weeks 24/7, being bruised and tender and massages.

Hey Bel, yeah I’m hoping that it’s worth it. As Alana has said, she could not have achieved the results in the gym. I’ve been told the incisions are small.

@bigben I was lucky to do it in the winter but I still had the struggle of hiding the garment over Christmas time as I kept it a secret from most people. Once you get over the first few days you will find outfits you feel comfortable in and which help hide the garment.

The bruising and tenderness goes down after the first week, I also used arnica cream with a cooling agent in it which really helps relax the areas. Also I have some picture of my incisions on Instagram if you would like to to see how they fade, I think mine will take a while to fade since my Ba scares are still slightly there and its been nearly 2 years.
