    Hello everyone 🙂
I’m booked to go down on the 15th of july, although its not too soon, I’m panicking most about the anesthetic! I’ve never been under anesthetic before so I’m scared of waking up, or dying or something! Do you dream when you’re under? I’ll probably have my biggest panic when I’m going down to theatre, any reassurance would be amazing! 🙂 x

Hi Georgina. I was exactly the same as you thinking what if I donor wake up ect. I had my op last Friday with no nerves at all on the day. I mean I was as cool as an cumcmber no joking I had a sleep while I was waiting to be called. The only thing I remember was looking at the clock 3.05 pm and telling them to do a good job on me! I think the build up to it, the waiting it all adds to the nerves. Try not to worry. Ask as many questions as you can. Good luck. X

Hey Georgina, it’s not as bad as you think. I was petrified before, shaking when I went in and all sorts. But they speak to you and loads whilst they do it. They were talking to me about my recent holiday and asking me loads of questions and I don’t even remember falling to sleep. I woke up still thinking about holiday lol and forgot where I was until the nurse said I was coming round. I didn’t feel any pain as they gave me a bit of morphine before I woke up. I just felt very tired but also wouldn’t stop talking to the nurse who woke me! Haha. It’s really not that bad, once it’s over you’ll think what was I worrying for 🙂 hope all goes well and you will wake with new boobies ! 😀 xx

Thanks everyone for your reassurance! Do you dream whilst under? I’m scared that on the day I will be too nervous to go through with it, that’s how nervous I am! I keep thinking of the end result but I’m just scared of waking up or dying, I’m building it up and making it worse for myself by googling it haha. Theres this film where a surgeon doesn’t give the patients enough anesthetic so they purposely wake up and I keep thinking I will wake up haha 🙁 I know my surgeon wouldn’t do that but still! Do you think I can get a sedative before going into the theatre and then get the normal anesthetic?xxx

haha 🙂 do you dream? Do you think I’ll be allowed a sedative because I’ll probably be a nervous wreck. What happens before you go down? Do you walk into the theatre then get put under? Because seeing all the knives and stuff around me and all the medial equipment would freak me out!xxx

I was the same too. I thought I’d be the one that dies!!!! Like the other girls have said when the day comes you’ll feel so calm it won’t be a problem. I thought I’d be crying as they put me to sleep or worse still chicken out completely but I almost skipped down to surgery, so happy and excited! You don’t go straight into surgery so won’t see all the scalpels etc, the nurses chat to you whilst the anaesthetist does their bit, he told me I’d start to feel drunk, I never did, I just woke up with boobs lol. Apparently the anaesthetist stays with you during surgery monitoring you so there’s no chance you’ll wake up either. I didn’t dream as it felt as if no time had passed! I was so worried about everything for weeks before my op but it was a breeze and I felt a complete tit after for wasting my time worrying, enjoy your boobie trip xxx

Omg hahaa, I’m exactly the same! I’m thinking I’ll be the one who dies and wakes up 🙁 I’m glad I’m not the only one, makes me feel all normal! I think at the moment I won’t be so happy about going down, I’m worried that last minute I’ll freak out and not be able to go through with it. I’m paying the rest of the fee off next week so I’ll want to force myself down, I’m just so scared of the operation itself 🙁 so do they put you under in a different room then wheel you down into theatre? I thought I’d walk into theatre and get into the bed, get my eyes taped shut and all that, then be put to sleep, thats why I was freaking out too haha xxx

Hahaha Georgina they won’t tape your eyes shut, it’s surgery not the electric chair lol. You go into a small room which is joined to the operating theatre through double doors. It’s like the nurses office at a gp surgery, just a bed and cupboards on the walls etc. You won’t see anything surgical at all and before you know it you’ll be back in your room. All the staff are so used to people being scared they’ll know exactly how to calm your nerves. Keep thinking of those gorgeous boobies you’ll have afterwards xxx

Do you think I can get a sedative? Thank you for your help, haha, I’ve been imagining the worst! I keep thinking of the result after but I’m just scared of the actual operation 🙁 xxx
