Last minute panics

Hi girls! My nurse just rang me to say on the day of my pre-op (which was the 17th of april) my blood pressure was slightly higher than normal. She said it was probably down to nerves (i thought i was going to have a blood test, so thats probably why) but my operations tomorrow and now im panicking im going to die! Haha.. Has anyone else experienced something similar, i.e, having high blood pressure reading etc? Its really worrying me now..
Also, i have a piercing in my ear that ive literally been trying to get out for weeks! It wont come out! No matter what i do? Is it true you can have tape put over piercings that ‘wont come out’? Ive literally tried everything! Xx

Hey hun dont panic stress and anxiety can raise ur blood pressure slightly and dnt worry about ur piercing.. when we do operations at work if we cnt remove the piercing we just pop tape over 🙂 they wil provide it dnt worry chick. Just tjink of those lovely new boobies xxx

If you were at risk they wouldnt let you have the op babe so i really wouldnt worry yourself, it will only make it worse lol… I dont think you can have any metal on you? They even put tape over my plastic bellybar xx

iv always had high blood pressure there loads they can do to calm it,mine runs in the family urs was most prob nervs so don’t worry hun xx

i had high blood pressure after the op…and usually mine is good! So it def has something to do with stress and nerves etc!! Honestly don’t worry about it babe… As Mel said if it was anything to worry about they wouldn’t go ahead with the op. Just try and keep calllm. I am the biggest wimp ever with needles etc! And i honestly didn’t find it that bad at all! You are asleep in seconds. Goood luck xxxxxxx

Aw thankyou girls! Didnt expect such a big response.. Feel a million times better now! I was worried when she rang, but she never said anything about not having my op and your right in saying they wouldnt let it go ahead if it was anything serious 🙂 hopefully by this time tomorrow i shall have my boobies and everything will be fine! I think its just last minute nerves kicking in xx
