Today all strapped up
.
How you feeling babe, not to bad I hope.
Hope you have a smooth recovery.
You’ve had pretty much the same as me, not nice feeling like a t-Rex is it?. Xx
@claire yeah not bad I had my operation yesterday and did not feel great as expected. My admission time was 0730 had my operation at 1045 and was back through by 12ish. Was given morphine and anti sickness stuff as was feeling terrible I kept dropping in and out of it. But first day back at home today and have been shuffling about eating loads of fruit and salad and being able to do most things myself which I’m impressed with. Did you get 350cc? Xx
Blimey in so am I impressed especially as you had unders. Yer kind of 375/350.
Do push your self babe, I’m just as bad.
I did make a point off keeping on top of the meditation, to keep the pain abay, which I found really did help, by day 4/5.
You got a nice early time too.
How was you night? Xx
I have been getting that horrible burning sensation every morning but as soon as I wake up I put my ice packs on and this helps me a lot! i stopped taking my pain killers because they were making me so sick and took paracetamol instead! My alarm is set for 6am every morning to take my antibiotics and I have found if I take two paracetamols then as well, by the time I wake up at 8 am the pain isn’t as bad! xxx
Looking good Hun. I was the same with the morphine.. I woke up in a lot of pain so they just kept topping up the morphine. That was me done for the rest of the day then, I was sick, really nauseous and just drifted in and out of ‘sleep’… didn’t feel like a sleep though more like day dreaming if that makes sense?! The pain will start to ease over the next few days so try not to worry.. I felt like I couldn’t see it ending but it does get much better quite quickly! I’m 6dpo now and have no burning pain just the tightness still and a few twinges but much much more mobile! xxx
@clare141 I am so glad that I havnt been sick. The pain killers havnt made me at all nauseas I don’t think I could bare it if they had. I just have a constant burning pain and really struggling to get my breathing in a pattern. Thanks for the support I hope within the next few days I feel better. I really want a shallow bath
You will do Hun it feels like it will never end at first but I promise you’ll feel much better very soon. Just get the first couple of days out the way and don’t do too much too soon. I went out to a cafe on day 4, only last an hour and a half then had to go home for a nap lol! But each day I’m getting more mobile ..today’s achievement is I’ve just polished the house!! If you feel up to a shallow bath try and have one as felt much better in myself when I did. Re breathing I’ve heard deep breathing helps (obviously not too deep) but heard it helps the muscles to relax xx
