Leaking incision nearly 4weeks post op

Went back to the nurse yesterday had swobs sent off and dressing fitted had to redress it myself this morning as it was wet through. Started off clear and sticky now it’s orange red can’t see a hole but drip drip drops x

I had exactly the same at about 3-4 weeks – if there’s a slight opening in your stitches fluid will come out. It’s totally normal but go see your nurse and she will dress it again for you, you’re best to cover it over because it’s a potential site for infection to get in. I just put a clean dry dressing on myself until I could see the nurse xx
