Lifting my baby 2 weeks post op?

Hello I know I’ve posted a lot on here but you ladies do help and reassure me! I’m 2 weeks post op and have a 7 month old. Up until now I have not lifted but been passed him and I’ve left myself heal and the implants settle. Would it be ok to lift him now? Nurse said 10 days post off if I feel up to it but due to fluid I’ve left it a few days later. Any of you have babies? Thanks xx

I have a 1 year old and it took me just under 3weeks to properly lift him (very heavy baby) it was a real struggle I avoided it where possible as after the first week I tried and I pulled so hard I thought I’d pulled open my stitches and it was so painful for days. Just go careful and if possible when you feel ready easier said than done… My surgeon told me a week and I should be fine but I wasn’t! X
