Hi ladies I’m due to see dr giannas on the 27th jan for BA and rhino…I’m a 34c having 350cc high profile and given the choice to go over or under but really unsure what to do as both appeal to me….I like the thought of overs as I do a lot in the gym and I’m a jump fitness instructor and I like the look of being full on top.. I’m empty….but I’m worried about rippling if my skin goes thin….unders I really like the thought of no sagging and no rippling…any advice would be much appreciated..thank you x
I like the look of both but I had unders as I wanted a more natural look on myself x
I have overs 7 months ago and my look completely natural Overs and unders can sag the same my sugoen said it’s a myth that unders won’t sag and it’s not the implant that sags over time it’s our natural breast tissue the implant will stay in same place it was put it rippling again can happen with unders less likely tho all depends on breast tissue you have but if your been giving the choice of overs I’d assume you have enough breast tissue if it was me I’d go for over purely for the fact of the gym going under and doing a lot of gym can cause the muscle to contract on to the implant moving it slightly maybe go speak to your sugoen again and see what he would suggest the best placement for you would be and go from fheee xxx
I would say if you a natural c cup made of tissue and not fat and you are at a body size where if you lose weight you don’t lose your boobs. Or your at a body size where you never plan on losing weight, then I would say go with overs. Far speedier recovery especially for the gym and like Stacey said they honestly do look just as natural on girls who have the breast tissue to cover them. I was jusssssst about borderline but he actually said where my skin is quite elastine from weight loss it was best to go under. For me I know I wanted to lose a few lbs and still will so if I lost any more of my boobs they wouldn’t cover overs.
Unders recovery is harder definitely and it is painful and it does take a while to get back af the gym full time, but I would say they’re airing on the side of caution if you are worried about any weight loss etc. It will take you longer to get back into work but in the grand scheme of things it’s not exactly the longest recovery.
Have a real look and think about your boobs. Think about the smallest they’ve ever been when your at your skinniest and if you still have a b/c cup if I were you I would probably opt for overs.
Thank you girls!!…the problem I have is I’m not at my ideal weight…I haven’t got to much to lose and it’s more my middle section but every time I lose weight it comes off my boobs first which worries me about going over, I’m also worried about my skin thinning as I get older…my pc tells me I’m over thinking things..I am a worrier but I just want to get it right… wish my surgeon would make the decision for me lol x

hey sam I dont have advice regarding overs/unders but just wanted to say im also booked in with dr giannas on 27th jan at the fitzroy have you been told your admission time yet? im having 375 high profile overs xx
Hi Alex no doubt I’ll see you there!!…according to my paperwork they’ll let you know 24 to 48 hours before hand….do you mind if I ask why your having overs and what size are you now? X
I think your surgeon should decide what’s best rather than leave it down to you, seems a bit unfair on you!! They’re the expert. Even if one won’t make much difference to the other, they should still make the call I think.
Hi Sam Yeah I thought so :). I’m a 34c now and want overs as it’s less intrusive he said I’ve got enough breast tissue for overs and it gives a more full look, I didn’t really see any need to consider unders xx
Hey Sam, lovely to meet you in M&S the other day post surgery bra shopping lol Just sat in the hotel now, getting ready to head to the hospital in the morning for my removal and re aug. Hope every thing goes well for your ops and I’m sure whatever you decide you will look gorgeous! Xxx
Hi Sam, I’m in the same boat! been advised to go with overs as have enough tissue but I can still go with unders if I wish.. its such a hard decision! I’m a small b cup but apparently have good skin ?! let me know how you get on I’m booked in for 14th Feb.
In that case @mamfajones I would definitely go for unders. If I have even 6/7lbs to lose it could change it. Surgeons apparently say a stone but I know that my boobs used to go from an a to a b in just a matter of a few pounds. I wouldn’t risk it if you feel your not at your optimum weight. I’m 9wpo this week and although I haven’t been working my chest or heavy pull downs for Lats etc. I’ve been deadlifting at like 80% of my 1 rep max and I’m bang back into things and totally fine after my unders. X
Hi Rebecca…I seen you on another post before I seen you replied on here!! How you feeling? Sorry about bombarding you with a load of questions lol…how’s recovery going? Did you find the journey back home ok? I’m still no wiser whether to go under or over…I’m so worried about the rippling…if my boobs stopped me losing weight I’d hate them 🙁 Hope your feeling well xxx
Hi Stacey I will do but if you hear of any different advice please share lol xx
Hi grainne I have been worried about going unders with the gym glad it’s not affected you much! Do you know if recovery is much less with overs? I run jump fitness classes and have to rely on my best mate to run them under my supervision while in recovery not being able to join in with the girls is gonna be hell for me 🙁 xx
